The incisions are located in the same area as the abbreviated facelift, and your doctor will tighten additional skin to restore a youthful profile. It does not include a neck lift.

 An abbreviated facelift is ideal for those who have noticed the toll that gravity and sun damage have taken on their face and neck. The least involved of the three facelifts, this procedure requires two hours to perform with only seven to ten days of healing time. Your surgeon will create incisions along the natural crease in front of and behind the ears, and the skin is gently lifted and tightened. This surgical procedure removes wrinkles in the cheeks, neck, and chin as well as corrects small jowls.

 This facelift is a low-risk and often low-cost procedure that reduces laxity in the cheeks, and jowls. The procedure and recovery time are so quick that it’s been referred to as the “Weekend Facelift.” It is minimally invasive and involves making incisions near and around the ear to tighten your skin and underlying tissue. The fast recovery time comes from the smaller incisions, which tend to be more naturally hidden.
